A Falcon 9 rocket launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base on October 31 at 12:04 a.m. EDT, deploying 27 Starlink satellites to low Earth orbit. The launch occurred at 9:04 p.m. local time on October 30.

The Falcon 9's first stage, designated B1093, completed its 18th flight and landed on the SpaceX drone ship "Of Course I Still Love You" in the Pacific Ocean about 8.5 minutes after launch. The upper stage released the 27 satellites into orbit approximately 62 minutes after liftoff.

The new satellites join more than 11,000 spacecraft already in the Starlink megaconstellation. The record for booster reuse stands at 37 flights, set in August by booster B1067.

This was the 118th Falcon 9 flight of 2026. More than 70 percent of SpaceX's missions this year have supported Starlink deployment. The company has also flown Falcon Heavy three times and Starship three times in 2026. SpaceX is preparing another Starship test flight expected in November.
