NASA astronaut Anil Menon will speak live from the International Space Station with STEM content creator Mark Rober on Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. EST. The event celebrates National STEM Day and will stream on NASA's YouTube channel.
Menon, Expedition 74 flight engineer, will answer student questions about living in microgravity, becoming an astronaut, and spaceflight technology. He will demonstrate how everyday activities change in the space station's microgravity environment. Rober will join from California to discuss his path from NASA engineer to STEM creator.
The call launches a new partnership between NASA and the ClassCrunchLabs Foundation. The organizations will align NASA's educational resources with CrunchLabs' hands-on engineering content to expand STEM learning access nationwide and introduce aerospace careers to students.
