NASA astronaut Anil Menon and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk will install the eighth and final International Space Station Roll-Out Solar Array (iROSA) on November 5, 2026. The spacewalk is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. EST (1330 GMT) and last roughly seven hours.

This is the second spacewalk in a week for Menon and Kutryk. They installed the station's seventh iROSA on October 29, which marked the 100th U.S. spacewalk from the ISS and the first EVA for a Canadian astronaut since 2019.

The iROSA installation project began in June 2021 to increase the station's power generating capacity from 160 kilowatts to about 215 kilowatts, a boost of roughly 30%. Today's installation completes that five-year effort.

Seven astronauts currently occupy the ISS. Menon and Kutryk share the station with NASA's Luke Delaney and Jessica Watkins, and cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov, Anna Kikina, and Sergey Teteryatnikov. Delaney, Kutryk, Teteryatnikov and Watkins arrived on October 1 aboard SpaceX's Crew-13 mission. Dubrov, Kikina and Menon arrived in mid-July on a Russian Soyuz spacecraft.
