Czech satellite builder Spacemanic and Belgian imaging company Simera Sense are integrating Simera's xScape200 Dual-Use camera into Spacemanic's 16U CubeSat platform to create a compact high-resolution imaging system for commercial and defense applications.
The xScape200 DU camera occupies a 12U form factor within the larger satellite bus, combining low size, weight, and power consumption with standardized interfaces. Spacemanic manufactures its satellite structures, subsystems, and deployers in-house, allowing the company to design the spacecraft around the camera rather than forcing the payload into a standard form factor.
Spacemanic's SPACE CANNON deployer accommodates CubeSats up to 16U and includes an expanded integration envelope for payloads with protruding elements. Removable side panels on all four sides allow final adjustments before launch. The deployer integrates with multiple launch vehicles including Falcon 9, Ariane 6, Vega-C, HyImpulse SL1, InnoSpace Hanbit, Spectrum by Isar Aerospace, RFA ONE, and HyPrSpace Baguette One.
The collaboration pairs the camera, tailored platform, and deployer into a complete mission solution designed to streamline payload integration through launch.
