NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney will answer prerecorded STEM questions from Florida students while aboard the International Space Station. The Earth-to-space call begins at 10:40 a.m. EST on Tuesday, Nov. 10, and streams live on NASA's Learn With NASA YouTube channel.
Freedom Crossing Academy in St. Johns, Florida, hosts the event for students in grades K-12 and the community. The call aims to deepen understanding of space exploration and enhance awareness of STEM careers.
Watkins and Delaney are both NASA astronauts and pilot and commander, respectively, of SpaceX Crew-13.
The International Space Station has hosted continuous human presence and work for more than 26 years. The station advances scientific knowledge and enables research not possible on Earth. It helps NASA understand the challenges of human spaceflight, expand commercial opportunities in low Earth orbit, and build the foundation for long-duration missions to the Moon as part of the Artemis program and to Mars.
